Alpha Lambda Beta Sorority Incorporated is committed to its core principals by allocating money to fund scholarships honoring Unity, Empowerment, Leadership, Community Involvement, and Academic Achievement for individuals pursuing a higher education. The following scholarships will be awarded:
Raspberry Scholarship
Award(s) Up to $1,000
Description
The Raspberry Scholarship was created for individuals pursuing a trade school, associate degree, baccalaureate degrees or its equivalent, or advanced degrees from an accredited school. The Raspberry Award is awarded annually, at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee, to individuals that demonstrate significant leadership and community involvement in extracurricular activities.
Minimum Criteria
The applicant must be registered to attend a trade school, two (2) or four (4) year institution in the upcoming academic school year; must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher for high school students and undergraduates, and 3.0 or higher for graduates.
Diamond Raspberry Scholarship
Award up to $1,000
Description
The Diamond Raspberry Scholarship was created 2017 as a continuous education scholarship to be awarded only to members of the organization to continue their education on the basis of seeking higher educational achievement and professional development.
Minimum Criteria
The applicant must be an active member in good financial standing with Alpha Lambda Beta Sorority, Incorporated for a minimum of 1 year. Members that are undergraduates must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher; and members that are graduates must have a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA.
